Camping and ham radio-Interested in combining camping and ham radio? Join the Sturdy Radio Club

Sturdy Radio Club membership already includes several hams who both camp and operate ham radios.  Here’s what you can do.  Operate a portable transmitter/receiver radio (from a camper).  --DX chase (communicate with other hams around the world), join daily ham radio “nets” (over the air conversation groups).  Ham campers are always involved in  “techy talk” about radios, antennas, computers or a variety of other interesting topics.  Click on the Sturdy Radio link above and contact any of the officers in  the club for further information.
